Paradise Adventure Company - Yellowstone Rafting & Riding

Looking for the perfect family activity for your trip to Yellowstone and Gardiner, Montana? We highly recommend that you consider an adventure with the Paradise Adventure Company at 212 W. Park Street in Gardiner. This local company is owner-operated by a husband and wife team who started because of their love for the area and the outdoors.

Whether you are looking for a thrilling adventure or a relaxing trail ride, they have a tour that is right for everyone. You can navigate the Yellowstone River in a raft, take a horseback trail ride through the Montana backcountry, or cast out a line on a guided fly fishing trip.

River Rafting

If you want to cross river rafting off your bucket list, this is your chance. Paradise Adventure Company has worked hard to create river trips to suit every type of traveler.

For the daring travelers, try one of their whitewater rafting adventures good for adults and children age 6 and older. Trips will navigate Class II and III rapids which will give a thrill to all but are good for beginners and experienced rafters alike.

Those who are looking for a relaxing day with plenty of scenery and wildlife will love one of our scenic float trips. You'll have lots of opportunities for photography and bird watching as you enjoy the Paradise Valley.

All river trips are led by certified guides in each raft and vary in length from 6 miles to 18 miles. Trips range in price from $52 to $99 for adults and $42 to $77 for children.

Horseback Rides

Many visitors to Yellowstone get a glimpse from a distance of the beautiful mountains in the area. If you want a way to get up-close and personal with the Montana backcountry, then a guided horseback trail ride is the activity for you.

Saddle up to one of their gentle, trained horses for a ride. You can take a quick 1 hour trip or commit to a full day's ride depending on your preference.

Horseback rides are good for families but each ride category has different requirements about the minimum age of riders. Guests must be age 5 for the one-hour ride, 7 for a two-hour ride, and 8 and older for half and full day rides.

Be sure to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a light jacket for your ride. Don't forget to bring a bottle of water!

Guided Fishing Expeditions

Last, Paradise Adventure Company is the place to go for guided fishing expeditions in the area. Call them to book a half-day or a full-day of guided fishing that includes a fly fishing rod, flies, and transportation to the park and the river.

Please note, you will need to bring your own fishing permit, waders, and national park entrance pass for your fishing expedition.

Paradise Adventure Company operates seasonally so give them a call to see what's available during your visit to the area. They are currently accepting online reservations for upcoming seasons. Book online at paradiserafting.com or call 888-722-6505.

Have fun!

Scenic raft trip We had a great time! Maria was our guide and did a super job. She pointed out things to look for during the float. They even let us bring our small dogs!!

A trip we will never forget. Lots of whitewater and laughter. Such a great experience! Couldn't have asked for better! Craig was a perfect guide and host. We all had a very special trip. We watched a Bald Eagel fly over us, swoop down to snatch a fish out of the water and found a branch to enjoy his catch. We will never forget this full day whitewater trip on the Yellowstone. Just perfect!

Do the full day!!! Awesome time! Our guide Cliff was A great time, very knowledgeable and well versed with our route. We had 1 couple that got off the raft at the “half day” point. We HIGHLY recommend the full day. The second half is definitely the better half, you get to enjoy a lunch on the river, and it’s the perfect amount of time.

Excellent Experience with my Young Adult Boys! We had a party of three - two of us were newbies to white water rafting and one of us had rafted before in CO. We loved it! it was really a class I-III. We saw wildlife and our guide Cliff was awesome! Highly recommend!
