Lodging at Its Best,
Overlooking Yellowstone National Park on the Banks of the Yellowstone
River.
Just
a short walk up the Yellowstone River from the Absaroka Lodge is one of
Yellowstone Park's premiere hiking trails. The trail wanders along the
river's bank to and past the secluded Bear Creek Hot Springs and is on
the left bank of the picture below. This is one of the more than 10,000
thermal features that can be found in the area. Besides this trail, Yellowstone
has 317 miles of other well maintained walking paths.
Yellowstone
National Park is the largest undeveloped wilderness Park in the lower 48
states. You have more than 3,472 square miles in three states of untamed
outdoors to explore. Ninety nine percent of the Park is still primitive.
Here you can interact with nature while having a simple picnic or on a
rigorous hike into the back country. Below are Bison near Old Faithful.
A great place to have a picnic!
